Babycakes cooks
with local horse
lovers
Stepping Stones Center volunteers selling food at a select number of Windfall
Farm horse shows in Goshen
(see dates below) have started selling their aprons. Blame it on Babycakes, an irresistible miniature horse whose image has
been turning smiles into more profits for Stepping Stones, the 45-year-old United Way partner agency
serving children and adults with disabilities. Artist Bobbi Thies, Milford, who volunteers
at Stepping Stones, donated the rights to her Babycakes
painting to create the aprons for workers. It wasn’t long before patrons were
asking to buy the aprons along with the burgers. Babycakes
will start appearing on T-shirts and hats, too. You can buy Babycakes
items when Stepping Stones volunteers run the food booths at Windfall Farm
horse shows on June 7-8, July 26-27, Aug. 23-24 and Sept. 27-28, or by calling Stepping Stones Center
at 513-831-4660, extension 11. Aprons are $12. T-shirts $15, hats $10. Windfall Farm is located at 6898 Wes Curt Lane, Goshen, Ohio,
812-524-7424.
