Summer Camps

Currently recruiting for Summer Volunteers! 

Nine week Summer Camp program from mid-June through mid-August. 

Minimum commitment of  30 hours over the 9 weeks is required. 

Training for new and returning volunteers will be  provided. 

Day Camp hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  (Monday-Friday)

You will need to complete both a Volunteer Application and the Summer Registration Form (found above) before being accepted into our program.

Additional opportunities exist for individuals and groups to help in a variety of ways throughout the year at Stepping Stones Center and Camp Allyn. Whether it's working 'hands on' with our participants in a service area, serving on a committee, assisting with grounds work or helping in the office, volunteers are respected, needed and appreciated. Groups are utilized for one day projects throughout the year at both program sites.  Founded by volunteers, in 1963, we could not operate without the significant and valuable services provided by our core of wonderful volunteers. 

The above opportunities are NOT restricted to teenagers

Adult volunteers always welcome. 

Families may choose to volunteer together.

Church groups provide assistance and learn valuable life lessons while supporting individuals with disabilities.

Held twice monthly fall through spring at our Given Road location.

Weekends Away/Respite Care at Allyn Residential Services

2nd & 3rd weekends (January - April)  Saturday and  Sunday  - 15 hours community service credit per respite weekend. Volunteers MUST be at least 15 years old to participate.
